As you can see, I’ve added a new layout created by the wonderfully talented Jess of GotMedia?. I hope you guys will enjoy it as much as I do. 🙂
I’m still working on updating more content as well as new videos and images, so keep your eyes peeled for new additions over the coming weeks.
I’m currently working on trying to fix the problem with the page shifting off to the side whenever you click on any of the “categories” or “archive” but so far I haven’t been able to adjust it properly. You can still see all of the information when you read any of those sections, it just looks really wonky at the moment. Hopefully everything will be sorted out within the next day or two. Problem solved thanks to Mycah.
On the heels of announcing that veteran producer Jerry Weintraub will be given the Vanguard Producer Award after screening “Ocean’s Thirteen” during the opening night festivities, the CineVegas Film Festival will honor four other entertainment icons spanning two hemispheres, it was announced today by Trevor Groth, Artistic Director. On Friday, June 15, the Marquee Award will be given to Sir Anthony Hopkins (whose film “Slipstream” will screen at the festival), the Vanguard Actor Award to Sir Ben Kingsley, the Vanguard Director Award to Mike Newell, and the Half-Life Award to Charlize Theron at the Honorees Reception.
“We are incredibly blessed to gather such talent in one spot for the purpose of recognizing their collective work,†stated Groth. “The excitement of Sir Anthony Hopkins, Sir Ben Kingsley, Mike Newell and Charlize Theron coming together at this year’s CineVegas will truly be a weekend, and a year, to remember.â€

Charlize attended the Dior 2008 Cruise Collection fashion show last night in New York with her mother and they both looked simply stunning. A big thanks goes out to my friend RichE for providing the images from the event. Enjoy!
The lead make-up artist for the upcoming movie “Battle in Seattle,†starring Charlize Theron and Woody Harrelson, used a number of natural skincare products from the Alchemist’s Apprentice, an online apothecary selling 100% synthetic and chemical-free personal care items. The actors requested that only completely pure products be used while filming the movie, which follows the 1999 World Trade Organization riots in Seattle.
Lead make-up artist Monica Huppert chose a selection of organic skincare products from the Gorgeous skincare line, which is offered in the U.S. exclusively on the Alchemist’s Apprentice Web site. Gorgeous is a high-end, hand-made Australian skincare company, creating only pure products containing no water, no petroleum byproducts and no unwanted chemicals. Each product is made only from the rarest and most sought after 100% Pure and Natural essential oils, which is the internationally-recognized standard applied to only 1% of essential oils available in the world.
